Our goal is to  set forth a church  with a positive perspective, a bright outlook , motivated by  God,  as the church  grow and produce good fruit for the harvest.

Here at  the Hour of Praise Assembly Ministries, we are excited about the God opportunity to invest our lives in being active in the kingdom of god as we commit ourselves to his will.  The good and acceptable and perfect will of God is  the end product of having one’s mind “transformed by the will of God. I firmly believe that the call  to Ministry is a call to prepare. Thus as the call became evident on my life  I did not hesitate to assert myself in the area of Biblical  and Theological studies  which are foundational  for the growth  and maturing of every Christian leader, especially those who are called to the  work of the Gospel.

Someone has said that the problem with most evangelical Christians is that they are just “saved humanists.” We may come to saving truth in a moment, but it takes the rest of our lives to grow in grace.” And in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (11 Peter 3:1). Thus , Paul’s command in Romans 12:2 is so vital for every Christian, “Do not be conformed to  this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that  you may prove what is the good, acceptable, and  perfect will of God.”

This imperative for renewal is all the more essential as we enter into what the late Christian apologist Francis Schaeffer called a “Post-Christian’ era. Even secular thinker speaks of our times as “Post-modern,” denoting the enthronement of relativism and the abandonment of a rational search for truth. As the cultural foundations crumble around us, we must diligently confront our generation with the intellectual bankruptcy of their formative lives.

It is out of this pattern of thought, motivation, Godliness, that the Hour of Praise Ministries was born. God, needed men/women  who are more than pastoral- status-quo. Men and women who are nor hanged upon religion or denomination, while they are religious they are lost, while they are denominationally oriented they are fragmented. The calling to go out and makes disciples became the hallmark on my life; minister, pastor, leader, under-shepherd without border; this I wasted no time and move into the will God. Today, the Hour of Praise is doing what God expected of his churches and is striving under God.

For over 14 years the Hour of  Praise Assembly Ministries  has been a distinctive movement focused upon communicating the gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit. Presently, the Hour of  Praise  has established another powerful work in  Kingston, Jamaica.

NEW BIRTH

Out of the loin of the Hour of Praise Ministries: Birth was given to our sister church The Power of Praise Assembly Ministries in Kingston, Jamaica under the leadership of the most worthy: Rev. Densel Miller and Minister R. Miller. Phone #876-455-2126.

This church is the lighthouse in the Rockforth Area,  of Kingston; these brethren are not afraid to worship. They bend their bows to lift up Christ and it can  be seen and felt. A church is as good as its leader.
